Martha’s Village & Kitchen receives $20,000 at the Bighorn Cares Dinner
BIGHORN Cares funds specific projects of local non-profit organizations that demonstrate a need and are making a real difference in the quality of life for the people they serve. 66 charities in total were selected to receive the money. Representatives from many of the organizations were on hand at a dinner at the BIGHORN Clubhouse in Palm Desert for check presentations by Bighorn Cares donors. Martha’s Village received $20,000 in funding at the dinner on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. CEO and President, Linda Barrack, attended the event and accepted the gift on behalf of the organization. Since its inception in 2013, Bighorn Cares has donated more than $2.8 million to support over 300 specific projects for local non-profits that demonstrate a need and make a real difference in the quality of life for people in the Coachella Valley.
Thank you to the Board, members of Big Horn Golf Club and the entire community of Big Horn for improving lives through your dedication and support for so many worthy charities in the Coachella Valley!
