"The Men In My Life" starring Marcia Harp

Former Palm Springs Follies star Marcia Harp will debut her new one-women show, “The Men In My Life” on December 2, 2018 at 2 PM at Arthur Newman Theater. The theme of her show will be songs that have influence her life and show business career that are composed by men. Accompanying Marcia will be pianist Mark Kahny. Marcia Harp is an actress, singer, dancer, producer, choreographer, and voice and dance instructor. She appeared in numerous productions in the San Francisco Bay and Los Angeles Areas as well as across the nation. Finally settling down in Palm Springs, she was a ‘long-legged lovely’ in the long running “Fabulous Palm Springs Follies” and more recently played ‘Sweet Sue’ in Palm Canyon Theatre’s “Sugar”, and is the winner of two Desert Theatre League Awards. For “The Men In My Life”, Marcia will sing songs written by male composers that reflect her life from times of celebration to some more personal. Joining her at 2 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 will be music director and pianist Mark Kahny on the baby grand piano. The show is being presented by Les Michaels as part of the 10th season of the popular Cabaret On Sundays Series.
