Dare to Dance will be teaching dances at the Blast from the Past Party!
Event Description:
Celebrate Valentine's Day weekend with family, friends or your significant other on Saturday February 10, 2018 at historic Shadow Mountain Golf Club!  Pizza and drinks start at 5:30 pm, show begins at 6:30 where all attendees will stroll down memory lane as they dance the #1 dances from each decade to the #1 songs.  Let's swing in the 50's, twist in the 60's, disco in the 70's, hip hop in the 80's, do the Macarena in the 90's and for 2000, it's the Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, Nae-Nae, and the Floss!  Instruction for beginners, but there will be plenty of music for experienced dancers as the OC's best DJ will play the favorites.  While we are dancing thru each decade you will hear stories about what made the city of Palm Desert so unique and exciting.  Cost is only $25 per person, $40 per couple and $10 under age 12.  Additional $10 at the door.  Proceeds go to the Historical Society of Palm Desert, a non profit organization dedicated to preserving and educating PD history.  Go to www.palmdesertblast.com today to get your tickets. Location:
This event will be held at the historic Shadow Mountain Golf Course, 73800 Ironwood Street in Palm Desert.  This was the first golf course in Palm Desert and it is celebrating its 60th anniversary.  This is an outdoor show and there will be golf cart transporation from your car to the gate.
