California Indian Nations College (CINC) proudly presents its 3rd Annual Fire Gala: Going for Gold on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa in Rancho Mirage. This signature fundraising event celebrates the brilliance, perseverance, and potential of Native students and communities. The theme, Going for Gold, symbolizes excellence and honors the transformative power of Indigenous education, while the fire motif reflects warmth, unity, and collective investment in Native student success. The evening will feature an elegant plated dinner, a silent auction with Native art and curated gift baskets, and live entertainment by Native comedian Jim Ruel of the Bay Mills Band of Ojibwe, known for his performances on Showtime’s Goin’ Native: The American Indian Comedy Slam. Proceeds from the event support California Indian Nations College’s culturally centered programs, accreditation efforts, and essential student services. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tribal college chartered by the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians, CINC is dedicated to advancing Indigenous higher education and community empowerment.
